That's great Jim, very many thanks. It took a while but all done and working.
For any one else doing this, don't forget to update your backup sets (Crashplan etc) for the new file location!
In an effort to speed things up a bit I would like to move my LRC catalog from an 80% full spinning drive (D) to a new NVME SSD (E), where I've already moved the Camera Raw cache.
I can't seem to find a way to do this within LRC. If I move the catalog using Windows Explorer will LRC know that...
I'm fairly certain that it used to sync both ways. Indeed I used to have it set not to sync back from SmugMug to LR. SmugMug used to have an online editior (PicMonkey?) which I sometimes used for quick final tweaks and I didn't want those images over-writing the originals in LR.
Thanks very much for your explanation John.
I can now see that with the combination of OM-1 with the 12-40 and 12-100mm lenses I can choose to select the profile and adjust the amount of distortion. Now I understand what's going on, I will probably just leave everything on the default!

Now I could be having a senior moment, but my Lens Corrections/Lens Profiles for all Olympus lenses seem to be missing from the drop down list of manufacturers. The only profile option I am being offered is "Built In" which doesn't seem to do anything.
Looking back at earlier images, most have...
Many thanks for the speedy reply clee. I wouldn't know how to check if the RAID controller is dead. Any ideas please? I have a red light showing that one of the drives has failed and Windows Explorer becomes unresponsive if I try and access the LaCie unit.
Your comment about not using RAID...
I've been using a LaCie 2Big drive for the past few years for local backup in addition to CrashPlan for online backups. The unit has 2 x 3TB 7200 rpm ST3000DM001 Seagage Barracuda drives configured as RAID1.
I have just had a hard drive failure and although I'm tempted to bin the unit and buy...
Many thanks for all the advice. I will have to work through this a bit more as I find it is not doing it all the time. I need to try and work out exactly when it is happening.
I've found that recently when I edit a photo in eg PhotoAI or SharpenAI (using Edit a Copy etc from within Lightroom), when I save the resultant TIF back to Lightroom it is not syncing back to the collection where I am working, it is only syncing back to the folder on the hard drive. I then have...
