    Repair of corrupted catalogs

I've been scouring the internet for over a day trying to figure out how to recover my deleted lrcat (I don't recall deleting it, but it's definitely not on my harddrive, nor are my backup files!) ugh. I downloaded Disk Drill and it recovered many lrcat files - but now I don't know what to do...

    Lightroom Slideshow issue

Thanks Victoria. haha. Slightly better that it's not just me! I will say that the lower resolution (Youtube, etc.) worked great, and I tried the handheld size for my iPhone, that worked great too. So, I'm satisfied for now....

    Lightroom Slideshow issue

Ok, so I did another export to video (youtube size) and it works just fine. I think it's the largest size I exported before, so I'm happy that I can at least do the smaller size. I am going to see how the 'handheld' device size works....

    ? Re Lightroom 3 Beta-recovering pictures?

Ok, found them. Feel like a bit of an idiot. I think I was sooo panicked that I couldn't access them any longer I was OVER looking. AND on top of all that, they were indeed .JPG! I couldn't find a CR2 or DNG file for these pics, so then I was thinking, maybe I didn't even shoot in RAW when I...

    ? Re Lightroom 3 Beta-recovering pictures?

Mark--I'm sure I did convert them to dng! ;) I will look for the files though regardless. If I did convert them to dng, then what? hahaha! And Yes, I did purchase the upgrade and installed it yesterday. Thanks so much everybody! Jana

    ? Re Lightroom 3 Beta-recovering pictures?

Ok I've been browsing the forum for this question and have seen a few answers, but they don't completely answer my lingering question. I used both beta versions and I don't think I EVER exported and saved any of the images onto my computer before the beta expired. How can I access them? I've...

*GULP* Saved my Lightroom Catalog Backups to a disc...Please Help!

Hi Mark, I actually saved the backup catalogs to a dvd/disc thinking I would be able to just load it back onto my computer. I put the disc in today to 'look' at some pictures from last year and my computer was trying to open using Lightroom, and Lightroom said that catalogs cannot be loaded from...

:( Ok, So, I've had my Lightroom just over a year or so, and had no clue that the backup catalogs could not be retrievable if I saved them to disc! :'( I hope someone can tell me there is a way to restore them. It's 'just' family photos, but still, I didn't print all of them! akk! I've been...
