Looks like the best way to complete it seems like the best way to delete images from Lightroom mobile is to reject them, and then delete them from the desktop.

If I delete it from the phone, after it syncs with the desktop, it won't delete it from the desktop.

Would others confirm this please? I'd like to suggest a simple way to sync for my Lightroom students.

Yep, that's correct. "Deleting" from LRm removes the image from the cloud, and removes it from any synced collection and All Synced Photographs in LRD, but does not remove it from LRD. So your workflow method, assuming removal/deletion from LRD is required when you remove from LRm, is correct, i.e. use the reject flag in LRm and then delete the rejects from LRD.

I've been thinking about it, and it seems that syncing rejected photo to the desktop in order to delete them seems pretty inefficient, but I guess that's how it's set up to work?
