I just got a fantastic new computer and monitor and I now have no excuse (like I needed one!) to not do wonderful post processing. Here is my problem. First, I have my catalog and photos stored in separate places. I have the LR catalog on a fast SSD drive which I opened and it automatically pointed itself to the photos on a fairly slow external hard drive, even before I realized it had done so. I also have the photos on a large, very fast, internal hard drive and would like the catalog to look for it there (on the F drive [internal] rather than the external X drive.) My thought is that since the F drive is very very fast (as is the SSD) it would load pics quicker. In any event: How can I point the catalog on the SSD drive which is now looking at my X drive to the F drive to find my photos? This is beyond me (and silly me, I was beginning to think I understood LR!!!) Many thanks for your help!
