Exporting a "developed" image

Windows 10 Operating System:
Lightroom Version 6

Very new to this program. I have done the "developing" on an image and now want to export this to a USB jump drive. I can't see any way to do this. I did export to a DVD but on loading the burned DVD, the picture quality was terrible. There were about 10 filters to make some changes but none came remotely close to looking like the developed picture. What am I missing?

At the top of the export page select Export To - Specific folder than choose your drive.

What did you export, and how did you do it?

Choose 'File > Export'. At the top of the dialog, change 'CD/DVD' to Hard Drive'. On the right you can fill in all kinds of parameters, such as the destination folder, the file format, the image size, etc.

And use the standard library selection features to select what images you wish to use as a basis for your export.
