I am on a new Windows 8.1 computer using LR 6. This is the first time I am printing in LR 6. I made one print and it was fine. But any photo I tried to print since then is still printing that original photo. In other words, no matter what photo is showing up on my print interface, it is still printing the very first photo I printed. I even removed that photo from the hard drive, and that is all it will print. It's like that original photo is stuck in the cache somehow. I used to use LR 4 on my old computer and never had this problem before. Can someone help me?

That's a weird one Neiman! How many photos are selected in the Filmstrip? Have you tried rebooting?

Yes, I tried rebooting. I am almost at the point of uninstalling and reinstalling LR. I cannot think of what else to do.

One photo selected in the filmstrip. I even selected the photo I want to print and isolated it on the desktop. LR still prints the original file. '

Thanks for replying, Victoria. I was ready to email you if I didn't find someone who knew what to do.

I'm afraid I'm none the wiser on what's happening! Perhaps a screenshot will help...

Oh, one other thing to try - set the Print Job dialog to Print to JPEG instead of Print to Printer and see if the same thing happens.

I have had inexplicable behaviour in Print that was fixed by resetting Preferences. If you haven't tried it, it's always worth a go.

Dave

David, are you referring to print preferences or the general preferences? I'm not sure what I should be changing within Preferences. Regarding print preferences, I've changed them again and again with no change in the end result.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I looked into the print queue, and there were 30, yes 30, prints listed of the original file. No idea how that happened. As soon as I cleared the queue, everything was fine.
