Exact Lightroom Version (Help menu > System Info): Lightroom 6.14

Will I be able to install profiles for future Canon lenses in ver. 6.14? Assuming other versions of Lightroom will stay current as new lenses arrive will I be able to install them in my 6.14 version? I've never had to deal with this as I would typically purchase a new Lightroom version every three or four years and update those respective versions as appropriate (thus always having every Canon lens profile available automatically) but that's no longer an option. I prefer not to go with the monthly payments version of Lightroom. Thanks for any help.

No, normally not.

Doesn't Adobe have a lens profile creator app? I thought you could make your own and post it with Adobe or somewhere in the public domain. There must be some kind or work-around for those that stay with the perpetual version - or have we hit an absolute dead end?

Thank you. This is good to hear as I tend to rely on this feature on all my RAW shots. Plus I'm considering a new lens this year which isn't currently listed with Adobe (Canon 85mm f1.4L IS lens).
