What preferences set up in cs6

Operating System: win7 pro

Lightroom Version: 5.7

Trying to set up my PC for best performance with LR and PS running together. My pc has 16gb ram and SSD drives for boot up and cache separately.
What preferences should I apply in PS? How much to allocate ram? Typically I edit in LR but then export to PS for final tune so keep both open. Nikon 810 files are the ones I most edit.

Make sure ...

You want to open files in PS as Psd or Tiff
Use 16 bit
Decide on Adobe RGB or ProphotoRGB colour space. I use ProphotoRGB

In Ps.....
Decide on what your default colour space should be. I use ProphotoRGB.

I have adopted ProphotoRGB as my default colour space to minimise / eliminate colour space conversions travelling from Lr to Ps and back.

I will let someone more knowledgeable than I comment on cache settings.
